It allows it operator to safely lift the vehicle, the Pit Jack is supported from the integral upper pit jack rail within the Everquip Pit and the compressed air is located close to the Pit Jack with a recoil air hose. It is supplied with adaptors which fit on the end of the rams to allows lifting from different areas of the axle. An Everquip Pit Jack can also be fitted with a spreader beam for use particularly with buses and coaches. When springs need to be changed the vehicle can also be jacked on the chassis leaving the axle on the ground. It also enables you to reach jacking points beyond the width of your pit.

To lift the vehicle

Raise the air valve lever to quickly advance lifting cylinders to load and then the air pump automatically takes over to lift the load. When the desired height is reached, close the cylinder isolation valves.
To lower the load

To lower the load

Open the isolation valves and release the ‘dead man’ valve on pump. When the load is off the cylinders, hold down air valve lever to quickly retract cylinders. Simple, efficient and safe.

To improve safe working, hydraulic locking is provided by 90 degree isolation valves which are locked when the desired lifting height is reached. They also provide easy visual confirmation that the jack is locked off and allows each cylinder to be operated independently.

Which have needle roller bearings to ensure easy movement up and down the length of the pit. Parallel wheels are fitted as standard to suit flat angle pit edges with tapered wheels as an alternative for use on RSC supporting rails. Spring loaded wheels can also be provided, these retract when the jack is under load so locking its position.

Stuart Everard, Managing Director

Stuart has been with Everquip all his working life, 35 years and counting. Stuart is a very keen motor sport fan, married to Andrea and has two daughter Jessica 25 and Emily 19.

His favourite daughter though is his beloved Mabel, an 18 month old Boxer dog
