A vehicle inspection pit is a preformed steel substructure which allows for the underside inspection of vehicles.
Because vehicle pits are often over 1.35m deep, the opportunity for someone to fall in one is a real possibility.
There are a number of ways to make people aware of the fall opportunity;

Our product is an electrical safety cover which runs the length of the pit to act as a stop from anyone falling inside the pit.
Pit covers are designed to stop anyone falling into the vehicle pit, however they can also be used for allowing work to be carried out at floor level when a vehicle is over the pit.
Our pit system will take 1500 kg/m2 this means, allowing for mechanics to work at floor level without moving the vehicle off the pit. This saves labour time and speeds up productivity for the workshop, whilst also ensuring the safety of the workforce.
