An Everquip inspection pit is a steel substructure, which is placed inside a civil excavation and is back poured by concrete all the way around.
Sounds easy right?
The time it takes to install an Everquip pit, depends on works involved, dependant on the site being a green field site or one with an existing floor slab.
Installation into an existing floor slab – step by step process:
- Everquip supply layout, civil works and structural drawings.
- Carry out survey of area, cat scan and mark out dig plan.
- Cut floor
- Break existing concrete out, stockpile ready for the items to be disposed of
- Remove concrete and muck
- Deliver, offload and level Everquip inspection pit into civil excavation
- Run necessary ducting for air and electrics outlet.
- Back pour concrete in 4 pours up to Finished Floor Level.
- Allow cure time for concrete
This process takes approx. 2 weeks from initially cutting the floor.
