How much does a commercial vehicle inspection pit cost?
Price varies depending on application of use, for example a class 7 mot pit would be c10k alternatively a fully equipped ATF testing pit with wheel play detectors and pit jacks would be c40k for a more comprehensive quote our sales team are available to discuss requirements and offer a free site survey.
How long does it take to install a vehicle inspection pit?
Everquip are proud to offer a full turnkey solution from design and manufacturing to complete installation, once our teams are on site typical installation takes 10 days to allow the first vehicle to be serviced over the inspection pit.
Can Everquip pits be customized for specific vehicles or equipment?
Yes we offer a fully bespoke manufacturing process, this can include add ons such as; brake testers, wheel play detectors, pit jacks, waste oil and new oil delivery systems.
What happens if my equipment breaks down?
Everquip have a dedicated internal service team with dedicated support, if the issue can not be resolved via tech support we would organise an engineer to visit site, all spares are kept on our engineers vans to ensure a first time fix.
Are Vehicle Inspection pits safe for my technicians?
Everquip inspection pits come with a certificate to confirm structural calculations rating from 20 to 30t axle loads depending on application and use, our range of ProperPits also come with a 25-year warranty.
Everquip pits have replaced the more traditional breeze block pits by allowing entry and exit to BS5395 and non-slip floor along with a waterproofing which stops any high ground water.
What's the lifespan of an Everquip inspection pit?
Everquip’s first pit was installed in 1997 and is still in daily use along with our market leading 25-year warranty we typically see most of our pits being in the ground for a minimum of 25+ years.

What kind of training do I need to operate Everquip equipment?
At point of installation our factory trained engineers will provide comprehensive training for your technicians including a certificate to confirm your staff have been trained to used our equipment.
