Mobile Column Lifts

Mobile column lifts are used to inspect the underside of a vehicle, by allowing a clear working space around the vehicle. Everquip supply, install and maintain the range of Finkbeiner column lifts and axle stands.

Mobile column lifts are usually supplied as either Electro-mechanical or Electro-hydraulic, the difference is the operation and safety feature each type have. The Hydraulic version of the mobile column lifts is usually preferred, this is because unlike the mechanical version doesn’t have safety nuts which can be expensive to replace during the life cycle of the lifts.

The hydraulic version of the mobile column lifts incorporates a ratchet system which locks into place on ascend of the column lifts, during descend the system first rises to release the lock and then descends down.

The Finkbeiner 907 / 908 wireless column lifts are the most popular choice in commercial vehicle workshops. The column lifts both operate from the electro-hydraulic system with additional safety features as described above.

The 907 and 908 column lifts also operate via radio-controlled synchronisation allowing the column lifts to operate as wireless column lifts – allowing additional health and safety benefits of no wires dangling across workshop floors.
