Pit Safety Equipment

Everquip provide a range of products for use with any inspection and service pits, we supply a range of ancillary equipment that works within the Vehicle Maintenance Unit or Testing Facility to make the installation work for you and your vehicles that are maintained within your VMU.

We also supply a range of Health and Safety PitSafe products for your operators safety which is our primary concern.

PitSafe Pit Jack

An air operated hydraulic 20000kgs twin ram (10000kgs per ram) pit jack. Each cylinder is fitted with safety hose burst valve and 90 degrees movement isolation valve. The pit jack has twin cylinders that can be used independently of each other and each cylinder has a 400mm lifting stroke. The pit jack is supplied with extension section and saddles. Can be supplied with a range of optional extras. The unit is supplied complete with the LOLER test certification, 1 year parts & labour warranty then a further 4 years parts warranty.

PitSafe Pit Bridge

Allows a person to cross the pit safely.  With removable handrails to allow access to  work on the front /back of a vehicle without blocking off the entry/exit ways. SWL of 200kgs. The pit bridge can be moved easily along the pit jack rail with the aid of nylon blocks.

PitSafe Pit Cover

With the Health and Safety of your operators being of top priority Everquip can supply and fit an air operated retractable safety cover to close of the pit when not in use. The unit is stored within the rear of the pit wall and is fitted with a horizontally mounted forward and reversing air motor. The operator operates the cover from outside the pit. The cover has a Safe Working Load of 1500kgs and can be used in conjunction of your Everquip Pit Bridge and Pit Jack.

PitSafe Retractable Tape Barriers

A portable and robust barrier system provides a visual deterrent for people when the pits are open. The tape units are 9m in length and can be fitted on 1m high post which is mounted to a water filled base, you can alternatively use with wall brackets especially useful when you require to close of an entrance doorway.

PitSafe Waste Oil Discharge Drainer

Every Everquip Pit is fitted as standard with waste oil discharge pipe work for the discharging of Waste Oil from your vehicles. We supply either floor mounted portable drainer or pit jack mounted Waste Oil Pit Carts. Both units have a capacity of 100ltrs.

Both options are fitted with an air operated discharge pump that transfers from the drainer via the integral pit mounted pipe work to you waste Oil Storage Tank. This avoids any manual handling of the waste oil.
